Machinery Automation & Robotics (MAR) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the business operations of Compact Labelling Systems Pty Ltd.

The Compact name has long been synonymous with innovation that has helped transform the Pressure Sensitive Label Applicator industry. Compact Labelling Systems’ technology is known worldwide for quality, reliability and productivity.

Troy Krogh, MAR General Manager, says “The acquisition of Compact Labelling’s business operations will strengthen and diversify MAR’s product offer. This, combined with our recent agency agreements, ensures MAR remains at the forefront in providing manufacturers the most comprehensive automation solution”

Compact Labelling adds to the growing strength of MAR, with recent agency agreements for Baker Perkins confectionery, cereal and snack systems, as well as US based JLS Automation’s Talon series of robotic picking solutions in Australia.

Compact Labelling staff have been retained, and MAR will continue to operate and support the Compact brand. “The team at Compact Labelling have done a fantastic job providing top-quality solutions and service to their Australian clients. We want to ensure that the all new and existing clients receive the same level of service and expertise, and so will continue working with all existing Compact staff” states Troy.
