Identifying a need in the marketplace for a business to service world-class machinery locally, MAR (formerly CMC Electrical Pty Ltd) was launched in 1987 and has emerged as the market leader in the design and prompt implementation of solutions which increase the output of repetitive processes - in applications including materials handling, grinding, trimming and polishing, welding and cutting, palletising, and packing - address safety issues by reducing heavy and repetitive industry workplace requirements, and dramatically reduce clients' labour costs. MAR's client base includes Tomago Aluminium, Wier Warman, Tooheys, Sunrice, and Flomat Pty Ltd.
Integral to MAR's overall long-term growth strategy is the incorporation of a broad range of innovative new solutions and services including a dedicated team of both automation and robotic sales and engineering professionals, rebranding and marketing strategy, and strengthening of supplier channels. New to MAR's portfolio are partnerships with IRL's New Zealand-based Automation Systems business unit following their development of the world-leading Y-cutting robot for the meat-processing industry, Cognex Vision Systems, and Siemens Servo.
